Residency Workshops
Giulia Vigna and Opus 58, the artists selected to take part in the residency program, will begin their journey this month in the spaces of Colle Ameno, hosted by Spazio Relativo, working over the next six weeks on the projects they presented on the application.
An intense period of research, experimentation, and creation, in which the proposed projects will take shape, in dialogue with the territory and the community.
During the residency, Vigna will investigate the theme of care through repetition, particularly the repetition of walking: a simple gesture that will become a tool for building relationships, perceptions, and new meanings of the territory. The walks will transform into moments of encounter, listening, and mutual transformation between people and landscape; spontaneous conversations, GPS traces, and images collected along the way will converge into a collective narrative, a mapping of attention and perception.
autolavkė, the tales of the toyota is the project proposed by Opus 58, which will transform an old family car into a mobile sound space that is partly instrument, partly archive, and partly a meeting place. The car is reimagined as a social and performative device that activates as an open recording studio with vinyl production, a sound sculpture that makes invisible electromagnetic fields audible, and a space for intimate performances in public space. The project takes its name from the Lithuanian term autolavkė, which refers to a shop on wheels that reaches the most isolated villages, functioning not only as a service but also as a place of exchange and relationship. In a similar way, Opus 58’s Toyota becomes a mobile space for meeting, listening, and mutual care.
The residencies will be accompanied by a public program through which you will be able to get to know their practices and take part in free events and workshops.
Here are all the dates to note:
The walks with Giulia Vigna, open to everyone, will start every day from 5 pm from Borgo di Colle Ameno, participation is free and it is possible to join once, multiple times or even just for part of the route.

The experience will unfold in three phases: recording, vinyl cutting, and access to the project’s sound archive.
Participants will receive a copy of their own vinyl, while another copy will become part of the collective archive.
